DermaMimetic® is a skincare technology developed in Germany by DermaPerfect GmbH. The name is derived from the principle of "skin imitation" (biomimetic): The formulation uses lipids and a lamellar structure that mimic the natural composition of the skin. As a result, it acts like a "second skin," strengthens the natural skin barrier, and supports regeneration instead of just superficially covering the skin.

The technology was developed specifically for sensitive, reactive, and demanding skin—in other words, for people who have already "tried everything." Products like the Skin Rescue Cream are free from fragrances, silicones, and emulsifiers, making them so tolerable that they are even suitable for allergy-prone, atopic, very sensitive skin, and baby skin. It soothes irritation, reduces redness, and relieves itching.

Due to the skin-like composition, active ingredients can be absorbed particularly easily. Biocompatible hyaluronic acid provides deep, long-lasting hydration and increased elasticity, while plant-based active ingredients such as edelweiss, horsetail, seaweed, and aloe vera soothe and protect. Postbiotics additionally support the balance of the skin microbiome. This strengthens and protects the skin, shielding it from daily environmental stress.
